Astrology predictions by date of birthAt the moment of birth a life plan or pattern is given to everyone of us. How we bring this life plan to expression and in which manner we do that, is our decision. Every path has his own challenges and in every challenge there is a lesson. These challenges keep returning on our path, exactly as long as we need to understand the life-lesson hidden in them. That a horoscope does not fix, but designates potential possibilities, becomes clear in the next example: In a seed granule the complete construction plan of a plant has already been set out in detail. Will the plant ever grow and be fertile? This depends on a number of things, like the correct surroundings. When a plant doesn’t get appropriate feeding substances, it will never adopt its optimal form. It remains small, vulnerable for germs, grows too fast or does not develop fast enough and break or isn’t fruitful… Analogously, we can imagine the birth chart as a symbolic seed, as the constructional plan for the individual whom we could be. The birth chart makes it possible to recognise the necessary conditions for this specific individual, so he (or she) might develop his talents and bring his own unique pattern to expression. Knowledge of astrology can help you to express this pattern. What is your incarnation pulse or life task? And what are your current talents to fulfil that task? It can all be dedecuted from your birth chart … it is however not possible to predict the entire destiny of an individual by interpreting his or her birth chart. There always is the freedom of choice. The birth chart also provides further information on :
The motto of astrology is "Know yourself", and it’s not surprising that one of the most popular uses of astrology is drawing a birth chart (or radix). The word ‘radix’ means ‘root’ and indicates our origins. The word ‘horoscope’ literally means ‘look’ (= skopein) ‘at the time’ (= horos), or rather ‘look at the moment’. This means looking at the specific moment when someone is born. What happens in the celestial sky at this precise moment is - according to astrology - determining for men and his fate. A horoscope is a circular sky chart of the planets (as seen from Earth) at the time of your birth. To draw a birth chart, it is extremely important to know the exact time of birth, date and place. The drawing of a birth chart isn’t limited to the physical birth of a human being, it could also be an event such as the emergence of a country. This branch of astrology is called Hour Angle. At the moment a question appears, an Hour Angle can be made. The horoscope is divided into 12 segments or life areas, which the astrology calles ‘Houses’. Every House is dominated by a zodiac sign, which shows how a certain life section is experienced by you. The planets indicate our capabilities and needs (such as the ability to love, shaped by Venus), this can be deducted from their position in the ‘astrological Houses’ (or life experience areas). What information do you need to read a horoscope?

How did astrology emerge? Right from the origin of mankind, man was fascinated by the motion of the celestial bodies. The primitive man - exposed to the vagaries of nature - gazed upwards, full of awe. In ancient times they also discovered that there was a certain pattern in what happened in the sky: the stars and planets moved in a regular pattern along the sky and they always seemed to move in the same part of the sky. These ancient cultures imagined a sphere around the earth itself, where they could situate the various celestial objects. On this sphere they indicated the circlewise way of the sun, or ecliptica - this is the way the sun annually moves - viewed from the earth. Then they divided the circle into 12 equal parts, called zodiac, each named after one part of the astrological constellation. Later people designed to these zodiac signs specific qualities, and the stars that were observed in that part of the world, in fact, formed the basis for what is now called astrology.
